Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and Barber Stats (“we”, “us”) for the use of the Barber Stats service. By creating an account you accept them. If you are creating an account for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Your account

You need an accurate email address and are responsible for what happens under your login. Keep your password to yourself; tell us straight away if you think someone else has it. You must be at least 16 and using Barber Stats for a business.

Your data

Everything you enter is yours: your shop, your barbers, your clients, your visits. We store and process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. The owner of a shop can download a copy of everything in it at any time, on any plan. You are responsible for having the right to record the information you put in, including information about your staff and your clients, and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

Plans, trials and billing

New accounts start with a 14-day free trial that needs no card. After that, continuing to use Barber Stats requires a paid plan, billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. If the trial ends before a plan has been chosen, the workspace becomes read-only until one is; choosing a plan during the trial keeps the days that are left. Prices are shown on the pricing page before you choose; the price you are charged is always the one shown for the plan and interval you picked.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the billing page. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. If a payment fails we tell you and try again, and everything keeps working in the meantime. If the subscription then lapses, your workspace becomes read-only: you can still open everything and download a copy of it, and nothing is deleted. Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights;
• try to access another shop's data or another user's account;
• probe, overload or interfere with the service or its security;
• resell the service or pass it off as your own.

We may suspend an account that does any of these, after telling you unless we cannot.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Barber Stats available and accurate, but no online service is perfect and we do not promise it will never be interrupted or error-free. We may change or improve features over time; if we ever remove something material, we will give notice and time to export.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Barber Stats is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business arising from its use. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Ending the agreement

You can delete your shop or your account at any time, yourself, in Settings → Security. Deleting a shop cancels its subscription. We can end the agreement if you break these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason. Either way you keep the right to download a copy of your data first.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will email account owners before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms.
